Interstellar Travel in "STARLORE"
It is a standard in the galaxy for societies to have ships that can travel between stars. Ships are able to achieve interstellar travel using a technology called Warp-Tech. Warp Tech was developed by the ancient race known as the Archons. This technology was left behind after their sudden disappearance milenia ago. Warp- Tech is essentially utilization of Dark Energy to harness and manipulate gravitational forces to the point of bending space-time. Warp-Tech allows for space crafts to create wormholes from one point in space to another, allow for a craft to travel light-years in the matter of seconds. "Warping" or "Jumping" only has a limited range so many "Warps" or "Jumps" are needed in order to travel from one star to the next.
Warp-Tech is also used in creating fusion cores, which are miniature stars created and contained within the space craft. A fusion core produces astronomical amounts of energy that propels a ship through space at never before achieved speeds, which is useful for short range space travel. Anti-matter is the primary resource needed to fuel ships. The manipulation of wormholes also allows for the possibility of teleportation people, goods and materials from one place to another at the cost of anti-matter and other resources of course. Warp-Tech makes a trip from one star to another the matter of days rather than light-years.
